Bilingual and professionally trained in nature-based tourism, birdwatching, and the history and cultural heritage of Santa Marta, Erik blends deep technical knowledge with a unique emotional connection to the places he shares. He is also a skilled nature and landscape photographer, capturing and preserving the beauty he encounters along every path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His academic background includes degrees as a Professional Technician in Agricultural Production and Livestock Studies, enriching his understanding of ecosystems and allowing him to explain the local flora and fauna with remarkable depth. But beyond credentials, what truly sets Erik apart is his personal connection with nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raised in a small town surrounded by rivers, valleys, and mountains, Erik spent his childhood exploring the countryside during school vacations, wandering through his uncles\u2019 farms alongside cousins, and marveling at nature documentaries from National Geographic, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, as well as national programs like Naturalia<\/em> and Colombia Oculta<\/em>. From a young age, he dreamed of one day becoming one of those people on screen \u2014 living in nature, sharing knowledge with local communities and travelers from around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, that dream has become his life\u2019s work. When travelers ask where his passion comes from, Erik recalls those magical early years that shaped his soul.
